Damiano Tietto

Damiano Tietto has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Damiano started their career in 2007 as a Foreign Sales Responsible at Orijinal Dizayn where they maintained customer relationships and handled customized requests. In 2008, they worked as a Support Analyst at GlaxoSmithKline, where they provided 3rd level support for web services and developed new features. Damiano also worked as a Consultant at DSA, where they provided their expertise for a period of six months. From 2008 to 2010, Damiano worked as a Consultant at E-Time S.r.l., where they were involved in the integration of web portals for corporate users.

In 2011, Damiano joined ADD VALUE as an Analyst Developer, where they managed custom applications, performed testing, and led a small team. Damiano then moved on to migme in 2015, first working as a Senior Software Developer responsible for payment integration and later as a Technical Lead E-Commerce, leading the e-commerce team and developing hybrid shopping sites.

In 2017, Damiano joined Carousell as an Engineering Manager, where they established a new center in Taiwan and led delivery teams while integrating new services with the existing architecture. In 2018, they were promoted to Senior Engineering Manager, leading the team that launched Caroupay in Singapore and mentoring team members. Finally, in January 2019, Damiano became the Director of Engineering at Carousell.

Damiano Tietto holds a Master's degree in Computer Science, with a specialization in Image Processing, which they obtained from Università degli Studi di Verona from 1998 to 2007. In addition, they pursued further studies in Computer Science at Aalborg University, where they attained a Master's degree from 2006 to 2007. Prior to their university education, they completed their Diploma of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science at Liceo Scientifico from 1994 to 1998. Moreover, Damiano Tietto has obtained certification in "Managing New Managers" from LinkedIn in the year 2022.
