Alain Lowet has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Alain began their career at MCL S.A. as the Quality Control Department Manager, where they were responsible for leading a quality control group, setting up test procedures and productions, and defining quality control strategies to obtain an ISO9001 certification. Alain then moved to SYSMEX as a Software Configuration & Packaging Engineer, where they developed quality control tools in various languages, automated the distribution of software products, and created follow-up and documentation structures. In 2008, Alain joined SPIE as a Project Manager, responsible for projects related to lighting, counting and cameras devices, and weather condition measurements for the Walloon region. Alain also managed the maintenance organization of the display server of Brussel's metro. In 2010, they moved to Silicon Brain S.A. as a Development Coordinator R&D, where they were responsible for migrating the old ERP software to new technologies. Alain then joined AIM Services as a Senior Consultant, before joining ING Belgium in 2013 as a DevOps: Ops Engineer and Associate IT Application Leader. In 2017, Alain moved to Deutsche Bank as an Application Owner and, in 2018, they joined Airboxlab (Foobot) as a Project Manager and Information Technology Project Manager. Currently, Alain is employed at CarPay-Diem as an R&D Product Manager, where they are responsible for the creation and management of the new R&D software development team, and the analysis and setup of the complete infrastructure enhancements as per roadmap requests.
Alain Lowet has an extensive education history. In 1982, they obtained a Technicien Electronique A2. In 1988, they earned a Certificat Technicien Informatique Commodore for troubleshooting on the brand's hardware. In 1994, they were awarded a Certification Novell Network for managing a Novell network. In 1995, they received a Compaq L1SUP Certification for troubleshooting on Compaq hardware. In 2007, they obtained an Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop Certification (OCA). In 2008, they earned a Certification VCA Valable 10 Ans for security on public construction sites. Alain also completed a Formation Interne Team Management and a MPB: Formation Commerciale en Marches Publics Belges. In 2010, they underwent a Formation Adobe Flex. In 2011, they took a Formation Maven (RealDolmen) and a Formation Adobe Air/Phonegap/Javascript bridge. In 2012, they completed a Formation Agile/SCRUM/Kanban (Cegeka). In 2013, they underwent a Formation Spring MVC (RealDolmen). In 2015, they completed a NOLIO Basic Training at ING, a Formation Ne04J Training for Graph Database, and a INMOOV Open Source Project. In 2016, they took a GRIDGAIN course in Gridgain, Apache Ignite Datagrid Management. Finally, in 2014, they underwent a Formation Scrum Master Agile.
