Rachael Held

Rachael Held has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Rachael started their career as an Information Systems Engineer at Carpenter Technology Corporation in May 2013 and held this position until May 2019. Rachael then progressed to become a Cyber Security Analyst III at the same company, a role which is ongoing. In March 2020, they became the Cybersecurity Manager at Carpenter Technology Corporation and held this position until May 2023. Prior to their employment at Carpenter Technology Corporation, Rachael worked as a Network Administrator at Limestone County AL from June 2009 to May 2013. Before this, they were an Instructor at NHCLC from June 2005 to June 2009.

Rachael Held earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from The University of Alabama, where they attended from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from GIAC Certifications, including GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT) in November 2022, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) in September 2021, and GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) in August 2019.
