Timothy Lloyd

Timothy Lloyd has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2022. Timothy began their career as the Director of Worship Arts and Youth & Young Adult Ministry at Aboite Lutheran Church from an unspecified start date until 2007. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Worship Arts and Seminary Intern at Clairmont Presbyterian Church. In 2010, they joined Oak Grove United Methodist Church as the Senior Director of Youth Ministries until 2011.

From 2011 to 2015, Timothy took on the role of Lead Pastor and Head of Staff at Eastside United Methodist Church. During this time, they also served as a Startup Pastor, where they developed a strategic plan for a new church in Atlanta, securing project funding and crafting a new church identity. Timothy led the church through growth, including a vision reorientation and a merger that resulted in a move to a larger campus.

In 2015, Timothy became an Instructor at Candler School of Theology, where they taught as part of the Candler Advantage Advanced Summer Internship program. Timothy held this position until 2021. Additionally, from 2019 to 2021, they served as the Chair of the District Strategic Growth Team at the South Central District of the North Georgia Conference of the UMC.

Timothy's most recent work experience includes being an Account Executive at Carpool Logistics since 2022. Prior to this, they had also been running their own business as a Superhost and Airbnb Owner-Operator at Lloyd Airbnb since 2015.

Timothy Lloyd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Huntington University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at the Candler School of Theology from 2007 to 2010, obtaining a Master of Divinity degree in Theology/Theological Studies.
