Scottie Hughes

Scottie Hughes, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Scottie's most recent role is as the Chief Financial Officer at Carr Allison since February 2022. Prior to this, Scottie owned a business called City Brew Tours Birmingham starting in November 2021.

From December 2019 to August 2022, Scottie served as the Chief Financial Officer at Simon Williamson Clinic PC. In 2019, Scottie also worked as a Controller at LUCA from February to December.

Before that, Scottie worked at Anderson Growth Partners as a Senior Staff Accountant from January 2016 to February 2019, and at PEARCE, BEVILL, LEESBURG, MOORE, P.C. as a Staff Accountant from January 2013 to January 2016.

Scottie began their professional career as a Sales and Underwriting Intern at The Hartford from June to August 2011.

Scottie Hughes, CPA obtained a degree in Accounting from Auburn University Harbert College of Business from the years 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Moody High School, where they graduated with honors and was the valedictorian in 2009. Scottie Hughes also holds certifications such as QuickBooks Online Certification and Xero Advisor Certified, both obtained in February 2019. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy in August 2016.
