Rakesh Sharma Atry

Rakesh Sharma Atry has over 20 years of experience in research and development within the air conditioning industry. Currently serving as General Manager of R&D at Carrier Midea India from March 2014 to April 2024, Rakesh leads the development of various products including RAC, Light Commercial, and VRF systems. Previously, Rakesh held key roles such as R&D SBU Leader for VRV/S at Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt. Ltd., where Rakesh focused on products catering to the Indian, Middle East, and East Africa markets. Rakesh's tenure at Blue Star Limited as Manager R&D involved creating star-rated products tailored for the Indian market, and Rakesh began the career as a Senior Engineer at Voltas Limited, contributing to RAC product development.
