Nelvia M. Brady-Hampton

Nelvia M. Brady-Hampton, Ph.D., holds a distinguished career as a Senior Vice President and Mid South Consultant at Carrington & Carrington, Ltd. since 1992, and co-founded the African American Historical & Genealogical Society Memphis & Mid South in 2011. As a Professor of Business Emeriti at Trinity Christian College, Nelvia teaches courses in Professional Communication, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior. Prior roles include serving as a Volunteer Director for AARP West Tennessee and participating on the AARP TN Executive Council, as well as leading election committees for the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society. Nelvia's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Education from Michigan State University, an MS in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BA in Sociology/Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
