John Gessner is an accomplished legal professional and experienced leader within the restaurant and hospitality industry. Currently serving as a Partner at Carrington Coleman since November 2021, John has held significant positions such as Chairman of the Political Action Committee for the Texas Restaurant Association from 2010 to January 2024 and as President/Chairman of the Board for the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association until January 2023. John's extensive legal expertise includes serving as General Counsel for multiple organizations, including Twin Peaks Restaurants and Front Burner Restaurants, LP, as well as holding a leadership role as President of Gessner & Flores, PC from 1995 to 2003. Academic credentials include a JD from Tulane University Law School and a BA in Pre-law and Political Science from the University of St. Thomas in Texas.
