Eric Spangenberg is an experienced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with a strong background in education and program management. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor in GIS at Carroll College since September 2015, Eric provides instruction in introductory and advanced GIS courses. In addition, Eric has been the GIS Coordinator for Lewis & Clark County since April 2005, overseeing the county's GIS program and ensuring effective project management and implementation of spatial information services. Prior roles include serving as GIS Coordinator for the City of Marshfield, WI, where Eric established the first GIS program, and as GIS Coordinator/Manager for Cascade County, MT, where Eric developed the initial GIS program and implemented a county-wide GIS needs assessment. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (Urban) and Resource Management from UW-Stevens Point and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University.
