The Role: 

Carrot Fertility is seeking a motivated and mission-driven recruiter who is passionate about helping to grow the organization while creating and following processes that will allow us to scale during our rapid growth. As an early hire onto a fast-paced and growing recruiting team, this role will be integral in building out some of Carrot’s highest-impact and revenue-driving teams. The is a mandatory in office position in Des Moines, Iowa and contract to hire. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding for clinical, operations, and member-facing roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Source top talent using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and social media, while proactively building a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and manage communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide market insights and guidance on hiring trends and best practices.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics to influence hiring decisions and support continuous improvement.



The Team: 

Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Lead, you will be the driving force on the operations and corporate functions of the business (Clinical, Member Operations, Care Navigation, and Global Operations). You will be a trusted resource, responsible for not only hiring the best talent by effectively managing the recruiting lifecycle, but also for providing market insight and guidance on best hiring practices.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, 
  • Proven experience using an ATS (Greenhouse preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience sourcing and closing passive talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in-house at a healthcare or healthtech company.
  • Corporate, operations, and member-facing recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics and their application to hiring decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Slack, Gsuite, and Talentwall.
  • Experience partnering with external agencies on niche searches.
  • Experience working with external organizations to build diverse talent pipelines.

Compensation:

The starting base salary for this position will range from $45-55/ hr . Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
