Danny Way

Danny Way is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and technology innovation. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Carrot Ventures and an Investment Manager at Verdex Capital, Danny focuses on advancing agricultural technologies and the Canadian food sector. As President of The Viridis Group, Danny fosters innovation and provides support for early-stage ventures. Previous roles include Business Operations at Scorched Ice, Co-Founder of Vario Venture and ICwhatUC, and leadership positions with VA Angels and Valhalla Private Capital. Danny has also contributed to the Energy New Venture Competition as an Advisory Board Member and provided consultancy at Lumina Management Consultants. Danny holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary.
