James Douglas

James Douglas has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. James is currently working as the Head of OPEX at Carr's Group plc since November 2022. Before that, they served as the Production Director at ADM Pressings Limited from March 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of Operations at Meggitt from May 2018 to February 2021, Manufacturing Director at I Holland Ltd from May 2017 to February 2018, and Operations Director - EMEA/Plant Manager at Eaton from January 2015 to May 2017. James also worked at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in various roles including Product Director GOEL Aerospace, Managing Director GOEL Aerospace, General Manager, Plant Manager, and Operations Manager from 1999 to 2015.

James Douglas attended Newcastle University from 1989 to 1992, where they earned a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering. From 2000 to 2002, they studied at The Open University and obtained a Diploma in Manufacturing: Management & Technology. This diploma covered various topics such as Manufacture, Materials & Design, Quality, Design & Manufacture with Polymers, and International Operations Management. Prior to their university education, James attended Barnard Castle School from 1982 to 1989, where they completed 4 A Levels and 11 O Levels. James also obtained a certification in Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in August 2022.
