Joshua Akers

Joshua Akers has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Joshua currently works at Carrum Health as a Senior Manager, Commercial Business Development. Prior to their current role, they worked at Teladoc Health as a Commercial Business Manager, Revenue Synergies and also as a Product Awareness Manager. Before Teladoc Health, Joshua was employed at Livongo as a Product Awareness Manager, where they led a team responsible for assisting sales representatives and improving the lives of individuals with chronic conditions. Joshua also held the role of Product Awareness Specialist at Livongo. Joshua's earlier work experience includes working at Target as a Team Trainer and Manager, where they focused on training and motivating team members. Joshua also worked as a Senior Analyst at Northern Illinois University, conducting research and providing content for small businesses. Additionally, Joshua is a Co-Founder of the Feedem Soup Community Project, where they played a crucial role in reducing food insecurity, strategic planning, fundraising, and revenue generation.

Joshua Akers completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Northern Illinois University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Kishwaukee College. In addition to their formal education, Joshua also obtained the Illinois BASSET Alcohol Seller-Server certification from 360training.com in March 2018.
