Joao Moreira

Joao Moreira is an experienced data scientist with a robust background in machine learning, computer vision, and statistical analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist I at Cars Commerce since October 2017, Joao has developed advanced deep learning models and machine learning algorithms to enhance sales processes and user interactions in the automotive sector. Previous roles include Data Scientist and Instructor at Northwestern University, where Joao conducted research on gender diversity in creative teams and utilized large datasets for analysis. Joao's early experience encompasses internships and engineering roles at GadflyZone Inc. and Narrative Science, focusing on database construction and statistical reporting. Joao holds a PhD in Data Science from Northwestern University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Lisbon in fields related to physics and statistical analysis.
