Michael W. Valenti, CPA, CFP® has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Michael W. started their career as a Financial Management Student Trainee at Picatinny Arsenal in 2009 and gained experience in financial management. Michael W. then worked at KPMG US as an Associate in International Executive Services, specializing in executive compensation and global mobility. Valenti further expanded their knowledge at Lockheed Martin as a Financial Analyst, handling financial data analysis. Michael W. continued to develop their expertise in taxation and compliance as a Tax and Compliance Accountant at SunGard. Valenti joined Radnor Financial Advisors, LLC and held various positions, including Junior Financial Analyst, Financial Planner, Senior Tax Associate, and Tax Manager, strengthening their skills in financial planning and tax management. Michael W. later joined CI Private Wealth - Family Office Services as a Senior Tax Planner, focusing on tax planning for high net worth individuals and families. Currently, Valenti is the Director of Tax Planning at Carson Group, where they oversee tax planning strategies and helps clients maximize their financial performance. Throughout their career, Valenti has also contributed as an Outside Contributor for Thomson Reuters, sharing their expertise in tax planning and compliance.

Michael W. Valenti, CPA, CFP®, earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from Penn State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Michael W. obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Pennsylvania Board in 2014. Additionally, they received their Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification from the CFP Board in 2017.
