Stacey Burt

Stacey Burt, Ed.D., currently serves as an educator at Carson-Newman University since August 2023, and previously held educator positions at South College from July 2018 to December 2023, specializing in critical thinking and argumentation. Burt has extensive experience in K-12 education, having worked as a gifted coordinator and teacher at Murfreesboro City Schools from July 2007 to December 2023, and as a teacher at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School from 1998 to 2007. The professional journey began in management at Mercantile Stores Company from 1996 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama, and a Master of Education in Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from the same institution.
