Elaine Clore has a diverse work history in the healthcare field. Elaine began their career in 2007 at REMSA where they worked as an Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate and later as an EMS Dispatcher. In 2014, they joined Renown Regional Medical Center as a Trauma Intensive Care Nurse and eventually transitioned to the role of Critical Care Educator. In 2018, they became the Nursing Manager for the Trauma ICU. In 2021, they joined Renown Health as the Manager of Trauma. Currently, they are employed at Carson Tahoe Health as the Critical Care Nurse Manager and has been appointed as the Director of Critical Care & Emergency Services starting in February 2023.

Elaine Clore obtained their Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Nevada, Reno. Elaine then pursued further education and completed their Masters in Nursing Leadership from Western Governors University in 2022. In terms of certifications, Elaine obtained the Critical Care Registered Nurse (Adult) (CCRN-A) certification from the AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses) in April 2015. Elaine also acquired the Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification from the AACN in June 2020. Additionally, Elaine obtained the TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification from the Emergency Nurses Association in February 2021. Elaine became a Registered Nurse in January 2014 after obtaining their license from the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
