The Team You’ll Work With

The Social Media Manager is an integral part of our Content Marketing team. The Content Marketing team is a scrappy team of content strategists and creative writers. Your teammates come from the world of Hollywood TV, DC speechwriting, and FinTech marketing.

The Content Team sits within the External Affairs team, which encompasses Content, Brand Marketing, Internal/External Communications, Web Presence, and Policy. We have teammates across the country who love spreading the word about Carta, democratizing equity ownership, and increasing access to financial education.

**The Problems You’ll Solve **

Carta is lucky to work with thousands of brilliant founders and investors. Our Social Media team will create the most relevant social feed for the venture ecosystem. You will own all of our social channels entirely.

  • Develop the forward looking strategy for our social media platforms, with a focus on community development
  • Turn our social channels into opportunities to engage with our community and develop relationships
  • Build an internal reporting system to report on our social goals and results
  • Partner with each of our Business Units to create social strategies that achieve their goals while working within our brand guidelines

About You

You are an independent thinker who loves developing relationships, building community, and driving results. You are passionate about the venture ecosystem, have a strong grasp of equity fundamentals, and a genuine empathy for founders. You have experience managing and reporting on results. You can find the most meaningful insights in a piece of writing and turn that into digestible and compelling social media content.

You have deep experience owning all social channels for a company in the venture ecosystem. You have reported on and owned metrics and results for all social channels.
