Alan Rodriguez

Alan Rodriguez is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and design technology. Currently serving as a Senior Design Technologist at Carta, Alan drives consistency in design components, leads significant projects such as an iconography refresh, and enhances design system documentation and collaboration. Previously, as Head of Design at Audialab, Inc., Alan focused on building the future of artificial intelligence. Roles at Shopify included improving app development experiences and conducting user research studies. Alan's long tenure at Microsoft featured significant contributions to the MetaOS design team, where a robust React prototype was developed, as well as advancements on the Cortana Design team and in transitioning web applications to modern frameworks. A background in graphic design, including freelance work and early design roles, complements Alan's comprehensive skill set, underscored by an educational foundation in Graphic Design from Seattle Central College.
