Jared Thomas Cep

Jared Thomas is an experienced product management professional currently serving as the Director of Product at Carta since 2015, where efforts focus on streamlining private company equity management. Jared previously held roles at Carta including Group Product Manager, where leadership of a team of nine Product Managers significantly increased revenue and customer base, and as Head of Enterprise Relationship Management, contributing to the establishment of the NYC office and facilitating initial IPOs. In addition to Carta, Jared served as a First Mover Fellow at The Aspen Institute, exploring policies and software to ease equity issuance for non-tech companies. As a co-founder and advisor at Code For Humanity, collaboration with students from prestigious institutions resulted in teaching computer science in Madagascar. Early career experience includes an internship at Thomson Reuters. Jared holds a degree in Philosophy and Public Affairs from Claremont McKenna College.
