Rachel Mayes

Rachel Mayes is an accomplished sales leader with significant experience in various leadership roles within technology and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Sales - Venture Capital at Carta since September 2022, Rachel oversees new business sales teams and leaders focused on venture capital funds. Previous positions include VP of Sales and Head of Sales at Nowsta, Regional Sales Manager for the Public Sector at Samsara, and Enterprise Account Executive at EVBox, where Rachel played a key role in US market launch strategy. Additional experience includes directing global sales at Chariot, which was acquired by Ford Motor Company, and holding senior sales positions at Yelp. Rachel is actively involved with Global Women in VC and Pavilion as an executive member, and is a graduate of the CRO School. Rachel holds a degree from San Diego State University, completed in 2010.
