Rick Munroe

Rick Munroe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and philanthropy. Currently serving as Managing Director at Carter, Advancing Philanthropy Worldwide since June 2018, Rick also holds the same title at Carter. Prior to this, Rick Munroe was the Director of Development and Director of Annual & Corporate Giving at Shady Side Academy from September 2003 to June 2018. Earlier roles include Assistant Director at The Pittsburgh Film Office from January 2000 to July 2003 and Producer for Nickelodeon's All That Music & More Festival at SFX Entertainment from 1998 to 1999. Rick Munroe began the career as Assistant to the Producers at Redeemable Features from 1996 to 1998. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, attained from 1984 to 1988, and foundational education at Shady Side Academy from 1976 to 1984.
