Stephen Sokany

Stephen Sokany is a highly experienced senior executive with over 30 years in nonprofit management and fundraising. Currently serving as Managing Director at Carter, Advancing Philanthropy Worldwide since August 2022 and Principal at Sokany Strategic Consulting, LLC since June 2020, Sokany also holds the position of President of the Board of Directors at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland. Previously, Sokany was Executive Director of the West 117 Foundation, Inc., and held multiple leadership roles at Kent State University, culminating as Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration specializing in Nonprofit Management from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
