Sue Acri

Sue Acri serves as the Managing Director at Carter, Advancing Philanthropy Worldwide since May 2012. Previously, Sue Acri held key positions at Virginia Commonwealth University from January 2011 to June 2013, including Director of Campaign Planning and Executive Director of Development & External Relations for Massey Cancer Center. Additionally, Sue Acri was the President of the Virginia Association of Fund Raising Executives from July 2011 to June 2012 and spent 14 years at Ketchum from July 1997 to 2011, serving as Senior Vice President in various capacities, including a focus on healthcare. Other significant roles include consulting at the Science Museum of Virginia Foundation and Care USA, as well as serving as Senior Vice President at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. Sue Acri began a career in development at Life Service Systems and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 1972.
