Kinhong Kan

Kinhong Kan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 2018, they have been working as the VP of Engineering at Cartera Commerce, Inc – A Rakuten Company. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they held multiple roles at Endurance International Group, including VP of Technology for Hosting and Domain Platforms and VP of Technology for Enterprise Application. From 2001 to 2015, Kinhong Kan was the Founder and President of VitalBeam Corporation, a software consulting company. Prior to that, they were the Cofounder and CTO of Quickdot. Kinhong also worked as a Senior Software Architect at i2 Technologies and as a Senior Software Engineer at iMarket.

Kinhong Kan has a strong education background in the fields of finance, electrical engineering, and computer science. In 1989, they began their studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Engineering, as well as Electrical Engineering, in 1993. Following this, they pursued further studies at MIT and obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1994. Later on, in 2012, Kinhong Kan attended The Wharton School where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance, graduating in 2014.
