John LaMattina

John LaMattina is an Executive Advisor at Cartesian Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were with PureTech Health, Ligand Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer. John was President of R&D at Pfizer from January 2004 to January 2008.

John LaMattina received their undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Boston College. John then went on to earn their PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire. After completing their PhD, LaMattina did a post-doctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in organic chemistry.
