Jury President Of The Cartier Women Pioneering Science And Technology Awards at Cartier Women's Initiative

Margaret Magdesian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently, Margaret serves as a Board Member at BIOQuebec and a Mentor to Loran Scholars at the Loran Scholars Foundation. As Jury President of the Cartier Women's Initiative, Margaret supports women in science and technology. Margaret is also the Chairperson and CEO of ANANDA Devices, a company focused on accelerating drug discovery through nanotechnology. Previously, Margaret held a Vice President position at the Society of Toxicology of Canada and contributed to MEDTEQ as a member of the Scientific Committee. Margaret's academic contributions include a role as Research Associate at The Montreal Neurological Institute and Associate Professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry from USP and studies in Entrepreneurship at INSEAD.
