Waleed El Nimer

Waleed El Nimer has over 12 years of experience in accounting and financial roles. Waleed is currently employed at Cartlow as a Regional Accounting Manager. Prior to this, they worked at CEQUENS as a Regional Chief Accountant from October 2020 to September 2022. Waleed also served as an Accounting Team Lead at FlairsTech from June 2020 to October 2020, where they led a team and implemented strategies to optimize collections and reduce AR aging.

Before that, Waleed held the position of Accounting Manager at a self-employed capacity from October 2019 to June 2020. Waleed worked as a Financial Analyst at Trilogy from November 2018 to October 2019, where they were responsible for vendor management and ensuring adherence to the Corporate Vendor Management Policy.

From 2014 to 2019, Waleed served as a Chief Accountant at OneCard, where they performed financial analysis and reporting, reconciliations, and coordination with the finance team. Waleed held the position of Senior Accountant at Mubasher International-Egypt from November 2010 to May 2014, where they were responsible for preparing financial statements and reports. Similarly, at National Technology Group-Egypt, where they worked as a Senior Accountant from November 2010 to April 2013, they managed various accounting tasks, trained staff, and reconciled discrepancies.

Prior to that, Waleed worked as a Senior Accountant at El Kahky Accounting Office from May 2009 to October 2010, where they reviewed budgets, prepared taxes, and assessed tax, credit, and treasury status for companies. Waleed also worked as an Accountant at Scandia Tours from October 2008 to December 2008, managing cash flow, budgets, profit and loss analysis, and payroll. Waleed is highly skilled in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting, and has demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and internal controls throughout their career.

Waleed El Nimer's education history is as follows:

Waleed attended the Alson Language School from 1988 to 1996, where they obtained their elementary degree. Waleed then attended El Nokrashy Language School from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained their high school degree in the field of science.

In 2001, Waleed enrolled at Mounfya University, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 2005.

In 2013, they pursued further education at The American University in Cairo, where they completed a Foundation Certificate of Finance and Accounting in the same year. Waleed also pursued a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting from 2013 to 2014.

In 2018, Waleed attended the Institute of Management Accountants, where they focused on Finance and Financial Management Services. This education continued until 2019.

Additionally, Waleed is currently in the process of acquiring their CMA Part 1 certification, from IMA, which started in October 2019.
