David Díez Rodríguez has a diverse work experience. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Land Surveyor for Intercayt S.L. and MD TOPOGRAFÍA Y CARTOGRAFÍA, S.L.P. In 2009, they also worked as a Didactic video performer for Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a JavaScript Developer & GIS Software Engineer for Telefonica, where they developed Mobile Web GIS applications, built REST based web services, managed the Web & GIS Servers architecture, and provided technical support to end users. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Frontend JS Developer & GIS Software Engineer for Minsait, where they developed architecture and components with React.js and Vue.js technology, developed features for GIS web app, developed and maintained web applications designed for desktop and tablet devices, and worked on Smart City Frontend projects. Currently, they are a Frontend Web Developer for DCSL GuideSmiths Spain, where they are developing front-end architecture and components with React.js and Next.js technology, developing features for web platforms, developing web application designed for mobile, tablet and desktop devices, and working on e-learning and e-commerce projects. David is also set to start working as a Frontend Web Developer for CARTO in 2022.

David Díez Rodríguez has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Land Surveying Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained between 2008 and 2013. In 2015, they completed a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Systems from ESRI Spain. David then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Web Development Software Engineering from Ironhack in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Time Management and Emotional Intelligence Level I and II from Inteligencias Múltiples Profesionales S.L., a Web Development Bootcamp from Ironhack, a Curso OpenGeo Suite (QGIS, PostgreSQL® & PostGIS®) from Telefónica Business Solutions, and an Offline Web Development Course.
