Edgar Bermejo

Edgar Bermejo has over fifteen years of experience in the digital and interactive design space. Edgar began their career in 2004 as a freelance UX/UI Designer & Creative Developer, where they were responsible for recommending technical solutions and architecture to clients, as well as sketching wireframes, prototyping concepts, creating UI designs and testing. In 2007, they co-founded Toolz, a digital marketing agency, where they managed a small five-person team, as well as a big team of external collaborators. During this period, they managed projects for national and international communication agencies and clients.

In 2012, they joined btob:) Digital Marketing Agency as a Front-end Developer, where they were responsible for collaborating with creative teams on the execution of ideas and projects, as well as promoting and communicating new ideas, process improvements and new technologies. In 2015, they joined ilusia® as a Lead Front End Developer, where they developed fully web applications based on design requirements using CSS3 (Sass) and JavaScript (React). That same year, they also joined Pixaboo | Creative Agency as a Lead Front-end Developer, where they made all kinds of work such as static webpages, CMS, HTML email templates and newsletters for e-mail marketing campaigns.

In 2017, they joined GLEAM AI as a Lead Front End Developer and in 2018, they joined CARTO as a UI Developer.

Edgar Bermejo's education history includes a Master in Web Application Development from Cice :: Escuela Profesional de Nuevas Tecnologías from 2009 to 2010, a Higher Education in Plastic Arts and Design from Escola d'art i superior de Dissen from 2002 to 2006, HTML5 for native apps from Reforest School in 2012, Novice IOS from d-raiz in 2012, From AS2 to AS3 from Reforest School in 2012, and Air for Android from Reforest School in 2012.
