Nenko Baldzhiev

Nenko Baldzhiev has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and automation engineering. Nenko started their career as a Software Quality Assurance Intern at Smartcom Bulgaria AD in May 2016 and transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer in October 2016. In this role, they created and developed automated tests for a web application, as well as test scripts for network switches, WiFi routers, and a link monitoring device. Nenko utilized Python, Selenium, Tcl, and Expect, and also worked with network traffic generators.

From October 2019 to February 2020, Nenko worked as a Test Automation Engineer at Amdocs, where they focused on maintaining and developing UI tests using Python and Selenium. Nenko also gained experience in the Page Object Model design pattern.

In March 2020, they joined Cisco as an Automation Engineer but left in April 2020.

From May 2020 to September 2022, Nenko worked at Hyperscience as a QA Automation Engineer. Nenko was the sole and lead QA engineer in an agile squad managing the quality assurance and automation of two separate products. Nenko used Python, Pytest, and Selenium to write both API and UI automated tests and adopted an automation-first approach to maximize test coverage and minimize manual testing.

Nenko then moved to ICEYE in November 2022 and held the position of Senior QA Automation Engineer until December 2022.

In December 2022, they joined Trustpair as a QA Automation Engineer. Here, they added Gitlab CI <> Slack integration for automated test result notifications and developed public API automated tests. Nenko also conducted a Proof of Concept for Allure TestOps as a test management system solution.

From February 2023, Nenko joined V7 as a QA Automation Engineer. Nenko'sresponsibilities included adding automated UI tests, implementing GitHub Actions <> Slack integration, and configuring code formatting using husky, eslint, and prettier.

Nenko recently started working at CARTO in June 2023 as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. No specific details about this role are provided.

Nenko Baldzhiev completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networks from the New Bulgarian University between 2014 and 2018. Nenko also holds additional certifications including a Driving License and a TOEFL score of 100, obtained through ETS.
