Valerie Schwarz

Valerie Schwarz has a diverse work experience in the animation industry. Valerie started their career as an intern at Disney Television Animation in 2015. At Disney, they worked their way up and took on roles such as Background Designer, Lead Background Designer, and eventually became an Assistant Art Director on DuckTales. In this role, they worked closely with the Executive Producer and oversaw the Art Department and artistic direction of the series. Valerie joined Cartoon Network in 2020 as an Art Director.

Valerie Schwarz obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Character Animation from the California Institute of the Arts, where they studied from 2013 to 2016.
