Emily Lippold Gummer is a partner and registered patent attorney at Carver Darden Koretzky Tessier Finn Blossman & Areaux, LLC in New Orleans, with a practice focused on patent litigation, prosecution, and transactional matters in chemical and biomedical technologies. Emily began their legal career as a summer clerk and subsequently an associate at Howrey LLP, where the development of an intellectual property practice occurred. Prior to this, Emily served as a law school representative for Thomson West and completed internships at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Osha Liang LLP. Emily holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
