Farbod B. Fakhrai

Farbod B. Fakhrai has worked in the technology and compliance industries since 2005. Farbod B. began their career at Deloitte Consulting as an IT/Strategy Consultant. In 2008, they joined Engility (Formerly DRC) as a Manager/Technology Advisor. From 2011 to 2014, Farbod worked as an IT Audit Manager for the US Treasury and AOL. Farbod B. then moved to PayPal as a Global Technology Audit Manager in 2015. In 2016, Farbod took on the role of Engineering Program Project Manager at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). From 2017 to 2018, they were the Senior Compliance Manager at LendUp. In 2020, they joined CaryRx as a Security & Compliance Advisor and in 2021, they took on the same role at Farlinium. Most recently, Farbod has been the Director of Security and Compliance at Lark Health since 2018, where they are responsible for ensuring security and compliance with relevant laws and regulations, creating and implementing security policies and procedures, managing partner and vendor compliance, and leading compliance initiatives including implementing HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC-2 Type II, GDPR, CMS, and CCPA certifications/compliance.

Farbod B. Fakhrai has a degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, with a focus in Business and Computer Engineering. Farbod B. also studied Business at the American University of Rome. Farbod B. has also obtained two certifications, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
