Sr. Account Manager at CAS

Elena Kogan has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific and biotechnology industry. Elena started their career as a Research Associate at Microside Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 1998 and then moved on to Agilent Technologies as a Research Associate in 1999.

In 2000, Elena joined Applied BioSystems as a Product Manager, where they successfully managed and marketed 500 genetic assay reagents. Elena also spearheaded a project to transition the sales process online for the entire product line.

From 2002 to 2002, Elena worked as a Product Line Manager at Turner BioSystems, where they managed all aspects of instrument marketing and sales. Elena also implemented marketing strategies, pricing, and promotion structures.

In 2004, Elena joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Territory Manager, where they generated sales of molecular biology research reagents and kits to various accounts. Elena worked for Fermentas Inc. before it was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Elena then worked at Technology Vision Group LLC from 2009 to 2010 as a Manager of Business Relations. Elena successfully drove sales for international BioPartnering conferences and negotiated sponsorship packages.

From 2011 to 2012, Elena held the position of Sales Manager at System Biosciences, where they managed the sales of large service deals and complex discovery tools in the Eastern Territory. Elena achieved significant sales growth and closed the largest service deal of the quarter.

In 2012, Elena joined 3M as a Senior Account Representative in the Separation & Purification Sciences Division. Elena sold filtration and purification systems to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, focusing on existing accounts and penetrating new accounts.

Currently, Elena is working at CAS as a Senior Account Manager. Elena'srole involves growing the value of contracts for the SciFinder Discovery Platform in California. Elena expands customer use of research tools and scientific services, connects with mobilizers to understand needs, and increases usage through training and signing up new users.

Elena Kogan completed their education in a sequential manner. Elena first attended School #21, although the specific years and degree obtained are not provided. Afterward, from 1984 to 1989, they studied at the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" in Moscow, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Materials Science.
