Insa Prochnow-Sturm

Insa Prochnow-Sturm has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 as a Research Assistant at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, where they supported their advisor by teaching chemistry seminars and supervising students. In 2012, they joined Brenntag Group as an Account Manager, specializing in the rubber industry and successfully acquiring customers while identifying new areas for revenue growth. Insa then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Scripps Research in 2013, contributing to a total synthesis project. In 2014, they joined CAS as an Account Consultant, responsible for business development in Southern California and Nevada. Insa progressed within the company, attaining roles such as Senior Account Manager, Global Strategic Account Manager, and currently, Sr. Global Strategic Account Manager. In their current role, they assist scientists and IP professionals worldwide with information solutions to drive scientific discovery and fuel innovation. Through their various positions, Insa has gained expertise in account management, research, and development, and business development.

Insa Prochnow-Sturm has a comprehensive education history. Insa started their academic journey by obtaining a Diploma in Chemistry from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, with a focus on the years 2005 to 2008. Insa then pursued further specialization in Organic Chemistry and completed their Ph.D. from the same university between 2009 and 2011. Following their Ph.D., Insa Prochnow-Sturm joined Scripps Research as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2013 to 2014.
