Jennifer Downing

Jennifer Downing has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jennifer is currently employed at CAS as the Manager of Application Technology, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Advanced Quality Engineer and an Agile Lead at CAS. Jennifer joined CAS in August 2015 as a Quality Assurance Engineer and held the position until May 2019.

Before joining CAS, Jennifer worked at Sogeti as a Senior Consultant in the Agile Testing practice. Jennifer was responsible for creating and maintaining Automated Testing Frameworks, specifically Ruby/Cucumber frameworks. Jennifer completed the Sogeti USA Agile Certification training program during their tenure from January 2013 to July 2015.

Jennifer also has experience working in customer service as a Barista at Starbucks from July 2012 to December 2012. In this role, they greeted customers, took their orders, and handled cash register transactions.

Early in their career, Jennifer worked as a Front Ensemble Technician for the Olentangy Liberty High School Band Program from May 2010 to June 2012. Jennifer was responsible for instructing and supervising the front ensemble, writing music, and assisting with the overall band operation.

Additionally, they gained experience in arts administration as a Development/Arts Administration Intern at the Jazz Arts Group in May 2011. Their duties included communication with donors, organization of donor information, research of marketing and fundraising strategies, and assisting in event planning. Jennifer also achieved notable accomplishments during their internship, such as organizing a silent auction and authoring a report on new marketing and fundraising media.

Jennifer Downing attended Ohio Northern University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Music with Business Studies degree. During their time at the university, they also pursued a minor in Psychology and PreLaw. In July 2021, Jennifer obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Go-Lean-Six Training & Consulting.
