Nilesh Tawari, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they serve as the Director - Life Sciences at CAS, where they focus on delivering exceptional content and technologies to customers. Nilesh collaborates with the team to identify opportunities and create strategies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving industry. Prior to this, Nilesh worked at Elanco as a Manager and then as a Senior Associate Manager in Genomics from 2018 to 2022. At Elanco, they played a crucial role in genomics-related projects. Before Elanco, Nilesh worked at the Genome Institute of Singapore as a Research Associate and later as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they worked on NGS data analysis and the development of bioinformatics pipelines. Nilesh also gained experience as a Senior Scientist at Strand Life Sciences and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute Of Chemical Technology. Nilesh Tawari, PhD, has a strong educational background in pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmaceutical science. Nilesh completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy at Government College of Pharmacy in Amravati, Maharashtra, India, from 2001 to 2004. Nilesh then pursued further studies at the Institute Of Chemical Technology, where they earned their Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science and Medicinal Chemistry from 2004 to 2006. Nilesh continued their academic journey at the same institute and completed their PhD (Tech) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 2007 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Nilesh has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in various fields. Nilesh has received certifications in database foundations, process mapping and flowcharts, generative AI, Excel, machine learning, Power BI, data app development with R and Shiny, Python programming, and Python GUI development.
