Pavel Poplaukhin has a diverse work experience primarily in the field of chemistry. Pavel started their career as a Chemistry Instructor at The Ohio State University in 2001 and continued in this role until March 2011. During this time, they also worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry at the University of the Incarnate Word from January 2009 to May 2009.

In 2006, Pavel worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Texas A&M University, where they conducted research on di-cobalt, di-niobium, and di-tantalum compounds. Pavel'swork involved various techniques such as X-rays, electrochemistry, and UV-vis spectroscopy.

Pavel later transitioned to the role of Information Scientist within the same organization, although the specific tasks and responsibilities of this position are unknown.

Pavel Poplaukhin earned a PhD in Chemistry from The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 1995 and 1999. In 1994, Pavel Poplaukhin attended Altai State University and studied chemistry, although the degree they earned during that time is unknown. Additionally, Pavel Poplaukhin has obtained several certifications from Lynda.com, including Change Management Foundations, Leading Productive Meetings, Project Management Foundations: Communication, Project Management Foundations: Stakeholders, Project Management Foundations: Teams, Six Sigma Foundations, and Six Sigma: Green Belt. These certifications were obtained in October and September of 2017.
