Yuanfang Liu

Yuanfang Liu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as a Scientific Information Analyst at CAS, where they analyzed documents from worldwide journals to provide researchers with up-to-date scientific information related to chemistry. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist at ICx Technologies, where they researched and developed bioconjugated fluorescence nanoparticles for various medical applications. They also developed polymer hydrogel cell scaffolds and synthesized uniform-sized beads for tissue engineering. Earlier in their career, Liu was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oklahoma State University, where they focused on developing different-sized rigid inverted colloidal crystal scaffolds and synthesized biocompatible inorganic material scaffolds. Liu's research experience also includes working as a Research Assistance and TA during their PhD at USTC, where they developed surfactant-based soft template techniques for nanocrystalline chalcogenides and investigated their optical properties. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant during their Master's degree at M S Research at Anhui, where they prepared and characterized compounds with antibacterial and fluorescent properties. Liu also has experience as a school teacher and chemistry lab manager.

Yuanfang Liu's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Education from Anhui Normal University, which was obtained between 1983 and 1987. Liu then pursued a Master of Science degree in Inorganic Chemistry with a specialization in Organometallic Chemistry at Anhui University from 1996 to 1999. Finally, Liu completed a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry with a focus on nanomaterials at the University of Science and Technology of China from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Liu holds a Ph.D. certification from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
