Deena Disraelly

Deena Disraelly is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health, engineering, and crisis management. Currently serving as Deputy Director at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since December 2020, Deena also holds the position of Acting Deputy Chief Operations Officer at HHS Coordination Operations and Response Element (H-CORE) and has directed the Division of Planning. Deena contributes as an adjunct faculty member at The George Washington University, teaching the sole Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery course. Deena's prior roles include Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses and leadership positions in various volunteer programs. Deena holds multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The George Washington University, including a PhD in Engineering Management.
