Widner Alexandre, MA, LADC-I, is a seasoned mental health clinician with extensive experience in crisis intervention and behavioral health services. Currently serving at Latinas Y Ninos Center and Casa Esperanza, Inc., Widner provides counseling and coordinates treatment plans for individuals in recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. As a Senior Project Manager for the Tu Bienestar Program, Widner fosters youth education on HIV and substance use, while also managing outreach strategies for vulnerable Latino populations. Co-founder of Macaya Healthy Connections, Widner specializes in addiction counseling and case management. Previous roles include Border Health Activities Coordinator for Zanmi Lasante and Program Director for Partners In Health, alongside co-founding the VITHAMED clinic in Haiti. Widner holds a Master of Arts in International Community Development, a certificate in Addiction Medicine/Mental Health, and a Doctor of Medicine degree.
