Elizabeth Yap

Elizabeth Yap has over 14 years of professional experience in the design and construction industry. Elizabeth started their career in 2008 as a Designer at Scanteak SG. In 2013, they joined Andrew Lee King Fun & Associates Architects Ltd as an Architectural Assistant. There, they were involved in end-to-end project management for the design, planning and construction of Mapletree Logistics Hub Tsing Yi. In 2016, Elizabeth moved to Macro Resources Sdn Bhd as an Operations Manager where they supervised overall operations and work schedule of a construction project, developed SOPs and change management process, and provided executive support for tender submissions. In 2017, they became a Founding Partner at Studio n3M Sdn Bhd, where they established and project-managed commercial and residential projects. In 2018, Elizabeth took on the role of Project Consultant at Lien Hoe Corp Bhd, consulting on a new development project. From 2020 to present, Elizabeth has served as a Senior Designer at Scanteak SG, project-managing design and set-up of showrooms, window displays, exhibitions and pop-up stores regionally and internationally, ensuring successful rebranding by developing accurate renderings according to new brand guidelines, and managing contractors, material vendors, logistics professionals and external retail partners. Elizabeth is currently a Project Manager at Casa Mia Coliving.

Elizabeth Yap has a long and varied educational history. Elizabeth attended Ascham School from 1995 to 2003, obtaining their high school degree. Elizabeth then attended the University of the Arts London from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Interior and Spatial Design in Interior Design. Finally, they attended The University of Hong Kong from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Master of Architecture in Architecture. In addition, they obtained a Real Estate Negotiator certification from the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents in January 2020.
