David Eng has extensive experience in sales and account management in the telecommunications industry. David started their career at C-COR in 1994, where they served as Corp. VP Americas Business, overseeing product and services sales in North and South America. During their tenure, they successfully generated $200 million in annual revenue from key accounts such as Comcast, Time Warner Cable, and Cox Cable. In 2004, David joined Tandberg as Sr. Director of Cable Business Development, leading the company's efforts to expand its video compression business in the Americas cable market. David played a crucial role in identifying product requirements, integrating new acquisitions, and conducting product-acceptance testing with key customers. In 2006, they joined EGT as Sr. Director of Sales, National Accounts, managing sales for various operators in the Northeast, including Comcast Cable and Time Warner Cable. David also collaborated with Comcast's Corporate engineering management team to secure product approvals and drive equipment sales. David then joined Harmonic in 2008 as the Sr. Director of Sales, National Accounts, a position they held until 2015. During this time, they effectively led the sales team and contributed to the company's success. Afterward, they joined Casa Systems, Inc. as the Senior Director of Sales in 2015, where they leveraged their expertise to drive sales growth. David's most recent role is with Ciena, where they serve as an Account Director for the Comcast Account Team, a position they have held since 2017.
David Eng completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management at Augustana University (SD) from 1971 to 1975. David then pursued further education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from 1975 to 1977.
