Eddie Kane

Director Global Logistics at Casa Systems

Eddie Kane began their work experience in 1992 at Dell, where they started in goods inwards and learned the basics of warehouse, supply chain logistics, and inventory control. From 1996 to 2000, they managed the supply of materials to EMF1 from six external hubs around Limerick, ensuring that DSI remained below 1.

In 2000, they joined Mentor Graphics as a Logistics Specialist, responsible for managing hardware and software shipments, export compliance for Mentor Graphics Ireland, and RMA returns.

In 2011, Eddie became the Logistics Manager at NT-MDT, a leading developer of Scanning Probe Microscopes (SPM). During their time there, they oversaw all traffic to and from their facility in Limerick, as well as to customers and distributors worldwide and their main office in Russia.

In 2015, they joined Exertis Supply Chain Services as a Logistics Coordinator, where they managed the movement of freight from various sites in China and the USA to Europe. Eddie also handled trade compliance and managed all freight expenses for Exertis SCS.

Currently, Eddie is the Director Global Logistics at Casa Systems, Inc., a leading provider of network solutions. Eddie is responsible for global logistics, export compliance, warehouse management, and inventory control. Eddie works closely with logistics partners to export to Canada, Japan, South America, and Europe.

Eddie Kane attended Limerick Senior College from 1990 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Media Studies with a focus on Media and Broadcasting. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1990, they attended CBS Sexton Street, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided for that period. In terms of additional certifications, Eddie obtained a Health & Safety Representative-Level 5 certification with Distinction from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) in April 2016.
