Israel Munoz

Israel Munoz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Israel is currently serving as the Technology Director & Chief Architect at Casa Systems, Inc. since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Altiostar Networks, Inc. where they held the positions of Virtualization and Networking Global Director from May 2016 to March 2017, and Technology Director - Latin America from August 2013 to May 2016.

Before joining Altiostar Networks, Israel was associated with Amdocs as the Senior Technical Account Manager for the Americas from August 2010 to July 2013. Israel also served as the Head of Sales Engineering for CALA at Starent Networks, now part of Cisco, from May 2009 to September 2010.

Israel started their career at Ericsson as an Engineer in June 2003, before moving to Iusacell where they held various roles including Packet Data Supervisor, Network Planning and Integration Supervisor, and Handset Laboratory Supervisor. Israel worked at Iusacell from March 2005 to May 2009.

Israel has a solid background in the telecommunications industry and has showcased their expertise in various areas such as technology leadership, virtualization, networking, sales engineering, and 3G data core management.

Israel Munoz completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2004. Israel continued their education at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance between 2005 and 2008. In 2022, Israel enrolled at IPADE Business School to pursue a specialization in Negotiation, specifically studying Negotiation Art and Science.
