P.eng. Emmanuel Sampin M.eng.

Emmanuel SAMPIN, P.Eng., M.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Emmanuel is currently working as a Principal Systems Engineer at Casa Systems, Inc. since January 2022, having previously served as a Senior Systems Engineer from April 2021 to March 2022. Before joining Casa Systems, Inc., Emmanuel worked as a Senior Consultant Technical Lead at XTRA Solutions Group starting in November 2011.

In 2014, Emmanuel joined Tata Communications as a Senior Lead Engineer and remained with the company until April 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Technology Project Leader (Technology Manager) at Smartmatic from May 2012 to June 2014.

Emmanuel's earlier experience includes various roles at Communication Cellulaire d'Haiti, starting as an IN Services Engineer and IREG Roaming Engineer from June 2007 to February 2008. Emmanuel subsequently took on the role of GPRS Services Engineer from February 2008 to February 2010 and later became the VAS&IN Engineer Supervisor and Acting Manager from February 2010 to February 2011. Emmanuel then served as the VAS&IN Operations Manager from February 2011 to May 2012.

Additionally, Emmanuel has worked as a Network Engineer at TurboNet S.A. in May and June 2007. Emmanuel also gained experience as an Electronics Engineer at Conseil National des Télécommunications from December 2006 to May 2007, and as a Technical Support Engineer at ZTE from September 2006 to November 2006.

Emmanuel began their career as a Planning Engineer Trainee at Conseil National des Télécommunications from August 2005 to October 2005.

Emmanuel SAMPIN, P.Eng., M.Eng. has a strong educational background in engineering and information technology. Emmanuel received their Master of Engineering degree (M.Eng.) in Information Technology from École de technologie supérieure in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications Engineering from Université d'Etat d'Haïti in 2006. Emmanuel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same university, which they completed between 2002 and 2005.

Emmanuel completed their high school education at Collège Saint-Pierre from 1994 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Emmanuel has pursued various certifications to enhance their skill set. These include certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation, Introduction to Cellular IoT, Introduction to Small Cells, 5G Policy and Charging Control, Private 5G Networks, 5G System Engineering, and Introduction to 5G from Mpirical Limited. Emmanuel has also acquired certifications including RHCSA from Red Hat, ITIL ® Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, they have enrolled in various online courses on platforms such as Coursera, covering topics such as advanced styling with responsive design, interactivity with JavaScript, introduction to CSS3, introduction to HTML5, leading teams, programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), Python Data Structures, Using Databases with Python, and Using Python to Access Web Data, although the specific completion dates for these courses are unknown.
