Senior System Engineer at Casa Systems

Roman Gavrilov has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Roman started their career as a Design Engineer at Vector-Telecom, where they worked for a few months. Roman then moved on to be a Senior Field Engineer at Telephone Technological Company "Vostok, LLC", where they deployed corporate wired-phone networks and designed DECT networks.

In 2003, Roman joined MTS (OJSC "Mobile TeleSystems") as the Head of Network O&M Team. Roman was responsible for supporting a large 2G/3G network and handling various tasks such as health checks, troubleshooting, and equipment support.

Roman later joined Ericsson as an Integration Engineer. Roman started as an Integration Engineer III at the Multi-Vendor Verification and Inter-Operability Testing lab, where they detected and solved interoperability issues. Roman then became an Integration Engineer IV at Ericsson Inc., focusing on test environment integration and interoperability test planning.

Roman also worked at AT&T as a Lab Planning/Validation Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the new lab roll-out for AT&T's Small Cell project.

Their most recent position is as a Senior System Engineer at Casa Systems, Inc., where they provide design, integration, and support for 4G/5G RAN, Core, Security Solutions, and MNO cloud-based products.

Roman Gavrilov's education history starts in 1996 when they enrolled at the Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Information Sciences. Roman pursued a degree in Multiservice Networks Engineering and studied Telecommunication Networks and Switching Systems. Their education at this university lasted until 2001.

In 2007, Roman attended the Ericsson Academy in Moscow, where they studied Telecommunications Engineering. This education opportunity lasted until 2008.

In 2009, they sought additional education at Language Link Yekaterinburg, focusing on English Language and Literature.
