Sophia Zimmermann

Sophia Zimmermann has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Sophia is currently a Customer Program Manager at Casa Systems, Inc., where they lead strategic planning and execution for the delivery of end-to-end solutions for cloud native 4G/5G core private networks. Sophia has successfully delivered public safety network slicing use cases and played a key role in developing storyboards and messaging for enterprise customers.

Prior to their current role, Sophia worked at Nokia Bell Labs as a 5G Customer Technical Program Manager and a 5G System Program Manager. Sophia also worked at Nokia in various roles, including 5G Lead Customer Commitment, LTE Small Cells 4G Commitment/Release Manager, CDMA Current Engineering Release Manager, Software Development Project Manager, and New Product Introduction.

In their previous roles, Sophia demonstrated their ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project budgets, and ensure on-time completion of projects. Sophia has expertise in wireless security software development and is familiar with project management methodologies.

Sophia Zimmermann obtained their PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter in November 2006. Sophia then attended Rutgers University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. The dates for this degree are not provided. Following their undergraduate studies, Sophia pursued further education and received an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University, completing this degree between 2008 and 2012.
