Terrence Wong

Terrence Wong has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Terrence currently serves as the Director of Sales at Casa Systems, Inc. - Canada, a role they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, Terrence worked at Huawei Technologies (Canada) for over a decade, starting in January 2009 and holding the position of Vice President, Solutions until March 2021.

Before their time at Huawei, Terrence worked at TELUS from July 2002 to December 2008, where they held the role of Director, Technology Strategy. In this position, they led a transformation project to reduce total cost of ownership, collaborated with product marketing for new product development, evaluated emerging technologies and industry trends, developed wireless and wireline network architecture, and facilitated benchmarking initiatives with industry peers.

Terrence began their career at Stream Intelligent Network in October 1999 as the Manager of Technology Development before moving on to Primisys Communications, where they served as a System Engineer from September 1996 to October 1999.

Throughout their career, Terrence Wong has demonstrated expertise in sales, technology strategy, solution development, network architecture, and industry benchmarking.

Terrence Wong's education history includes earning a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) from The University of British Columbia, which they attended from 1994 to 1996. Terrence also holds an MBA degree in Finance & Marketing from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, Terrence Wong obtained the Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in September 1998.
